Allow time for the report to process

A first submission may appear within a few minutes, but processing can take longer during busy periods. Resubmissions may take up to 24 hours.

Then check the following

• Was the assignment submitted? The status should say Submitted for grading and queued.
• Is the file type supported? Word and PDF files are generally the safest options. Scanned images or restricted/locked PDFs may not generate a similarity report.
• Does the document contain enough text? Very short files may not generate a report.
• Was the assignment resubmitted? A later attempt can take longer to process.
  

If there is still no score after 24 hours

Please submit a Student Support Request and include the course name, assignment name, and the date and approximate time you submitted the file. Let us know whether it was your first submission or a resubmission.

Good to know: If the assignment status says Submitted for grading, the missing Turnitin score does not necessarily mean the assignment failed to submit. Please check on the file submissions field and check if you see a "Queued" status under the file name.
