Set Up Two-Step Verification

Two-step verification means that after your password, you approve the sign-in on your phone. It is required on your Crestmont account.

What you need

●      A smartphone with the Microsoft Authenticator app installed. It is free on the App Store and Google Play.

●      A computer or a second device to sign in from.

Steps

1.   On your computer, go to https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info and sign in.

2.   Select Add sign-in method, then Authenticator app.


3.   On your phone, open Microsoft Authenticator, tap the plus sign, then Work or school account, then Scan QR code.

4.   Point your phone at the QR code on your computer screen.

5.   Approve the test notification your phone receives.

Add a backup while you are there

Add a second method: a phone number, or a different device.
