Crestmont provides students with access to Grammarly through their university account. If Grammarly is asking you to purchase Premium, first check which account you are using.
Use your Crestmont account
If you previously created a Grammarly account with a personal email address, that account is separate from the university-provided access.
- Check your Crestmont email for the Grammarly invitation.
- If you are currently signed in to Grammarly with a personal email address, sign out.
- Open the invitation from your Crestmont mailbox and select the join link. Follow the prompts to activate your account.
- Sign in or create the Grammarly account using your Crestmont email address.
- Confirm that the university plan or premium features are active.

If you cannot find the invitation
If you already used a personal Grammarly account
You generally do not need to move documents into the university account. Grammarly works while you write, so you can simply use your Crestmont-connected account going forward.
Good to know: Before purchasing Grammarly Premium separately, confirm that you have activated the university-provided account.
