If you have forgotten your password, you can set a new one in about two minutes.
You will need to be able to receive a code, either by text or through the Microsoft Authenticator app. If neither of those works right now, skip to the last section.
1. Go to https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com/
2. Type your full Crestmont/CIU email address, then the characters shown in the picture.
3. Choose how you want to receive your code. Pick the option you know is working.
4. Enter the code.
5. Type your new password twice, then select Finish.
● At least 8 characters
● A mix of upper and lower case, a number, and a special character.
● Not one of your last few passwords
That usually means your verification methods are out of date. It is often a phone number you no longer use, or an authenticator app on a phone you have replaced. We can clear that for you.
Having issues?
Open a ticket at support@crestmontuniversity.edu, say that you are locked out of password reset, and include a phone number where we can reach you.
Good to know: Your new password applies everywhere: email, Office, OneDrive and the learning platform. Give it a couple of minutes to catch up on every device.
